Binoculars

Hey all,

I've always been intersted in birding, but never took it too seriously. Since herping season is practically over, i decided to take it up a notch and really start birding. Problem is, i got a crappy p.o.s. binoculars, any suggestions on an affordable, but half decent pair?

i like the nikon monarch 8x42 or 10x42 if you want more power but they might be a little more shakey in your hands if your not using a tri pod. www.natchezss.com has them at the best prices ive found. they even have demo models for cheaper sometimes.
