No. When I had it the symptoms included night sweats, but during the day I felt ok. Then the symptoms became worse and more often. Also, the only side effect from Doxycycline was sun spots on my skin. They recommended I stay out of the sun. Yeah right, and miss the Pickerel season? Don't be worried about side effects, they arent anywhere near as bad as Lymes, unless you're allergic.I woke up in the middle of the night with chills, a fever and aches. My sinuses were also clogged. It's more likely that it's a sinus infection, I think (hope). Wouldn't it be too early to have any symptoms like that?
4 weeks doxycycline
I'll be finishing my 4 weeks of doxy his week. So far, so good. Still have a bit of the rash and the bite site is noticeable. Along with the doxy, my doc recommended taking BACID( acidophilus) for the first 2 weeks, one tab twice a day. It's an otc probiotic that helps to keep your digestive system bacteria doing their job given that the Doxy is not friendly toward it. I've had no side effects at all.

Greg
Yesterday morning I had trouble walking, staying awake, or even keeping my head up or eyes open.
They won't eradicate them, but couldn't they help?
