Quick heads-up: I'll be installing a big update to the 1980's NHAP aerials later today (going from the current 2 million map tiles to 7 million tiles). During this process, you may have issues accessing that map. Will follow up when the installation begins.

Installation is starting now, you may have problems with the 1980's aerials for the next hour or two. Will post again when installation is complete.

Update is complete. Now you can finally see what Smuttynose Island looked like in the 1980's!

Boyd, when I pull up map info, what does "most recent update" actually mean? I assume it's not additions to the aerial itself.

It means that map was updated on February 2, 2025. That's when I increased the coverage to all of New Jersey, it previously only covered the Pines. I posted about this at the time

Just finishing up an expanded version of the 2007 aerials with coverage of the whole state too. When that's completed (this evening), I'll activate all the changes. Will make another post at that time.

The imagery was originally acquired in 2007-2008, as explained further down in the map info. If there had been any changes to that, I would have updated that section.
