Broke in the New Jeep

I was thinking of picking up some Zymol blue wax. It's a generic cleaner wax -- I've always had good luck with it.

I'll have to pick up some pads for my orbital this weekend.

I don't mind the scratches so much, but when one trip makes it look like Bob's truck I get a bit upset. If I can tone it down and get some shine back into the paint, I'll be happy.

When I inherited my dad's '93 GMC Jimmy [T15] there was some red spray paint in his garage that matched the truck really well...They sell it at Wal-Mart for $1.12 a can...

I just painted (2) replacement front fenders and you can't really tell it's from a spray can[passed inspection!]...I already took it hunting in the Poconos so it got muddy but not many pinstripes...

I like my S-10 based 4x4. While not a skinny as my old '62 willys; it's not as wide as the full size utes...scrapes less on most trails...

Well, now that you have it all scratched up, stop worrying about it. You now officially have a trail-rig. I miss no longer having a rig that I can take down the less-traveled roads. I'm not about to take the new '07 Tacoma down these roads. I'm in the market for a trail-rig that I can just point at the general direction I was to explore and go.

Hi,

Wanna buy my 1985 4Runner? Sale pending on Saturday but I'll take any offer over $2800 for a local Pine Barrens enthusiast. Talk about a perfect Pine Barrens trail rig.

I just got an '07 Tacoma as well. Double Cab, V6. This thing is amazing. So much power.

Old Truck -> 1985 4Runner

New Truck -> 2007 Toyota Tacoma DC V6

Peace,

Justin

My good friend Zymol Cleaner Wax (the blue stuff) worked wonders on the Jeep. While you can still see some of the scratches if you look down the side of the Jeep, the wax plus my random orbital buffer really got the worst of them out - including the nasty one on the passengers side.

So, now I don't feel quite as bad. I still want my four door Wrangler though. I had a dream I was going to try to buy one today, but the salesperson was locked in a cage because he was selling them too cheap.
