refering to NJ property taxes...I heard somewhere by someone, a GREAT idea. As far as school taxes, just add additional "school tax" on items for sale that are children related. i.e., clothes, shoes. Throw that additional revenue(sp) to cover the porion o fproperty taxes that are for school. I have children, but I feel for the retirees/or people with out children who bear that burden. It truely is not fair. But knowing our state gov't, they would "lose" that money just as well as they lose all the other tax they collect.
How do states like South Dakota not go belly up? They don't have casino's, toll roads or high property taxes...
