It appears someone missed the turn at Carranza and Tuckerton and almost crashed recently.

Do you think they could have been backed in and just went forward?

Remind me to never park my car there, or for that matter stand there :)

A wise decision. I'm not one for an abundance of signs in the woods, but there should be a dangerous curve sign there if there isn't already (I can't remember). Going northwest you see the curve comming but going southeast it comes up fast.

Just the kind of place I love. Sugar sand and lots of pitch pine.
Judging from the tracks it looks like some city slicker who got lost trying to get back from a weekend getaway at the Jersey Shore in her Hummer H2. Got on the phone and took her eyes off the road and.....:bear:

I took it at 8:43 AM. I then drove across High Crossing and stopped many times and parked my car right on Tuckerton down to where we crossed the Tulp on our hike.

Maybe they were testing their off road capability and then remembered to late that they were driving a Yugo.

Someone crashed there again

I saw this this morning right next to the tree in the start of this thread.

This had to hurt, lots of parts around.

That is a bad curve there. I remember reading years ago that workers for the Legion Post in Mt. Holly were taking chairs back from the Carranza celebration and missed the curve there and crashed.

I had a friend at the shipyard who missed a turn and ended up in someones living room. Twice. Did it once then came back two years later and did it again.

I would move if that happened to me. They came close to doing that in my yard twice.
