First time I ever saw one, I had the right lens handy! Not the greatest shots because I left the camera on "sport" in my excitement. I counted 8 in total.

You have been posting great shots with the new camera!!!

I saw a lot of Waxwings at Friendship last year. I just wish I had my camera when My wife and I saw a Cuckoo in the pines a few years ago.

Keep shooting.

last summer i watched two of these birds ram head first into the large window at seneca rocks visitor center in wv.the first one dies on impact.the second one was stunned and could not fly.i held him a bit and then placed him in some thick grass where kids wouldn't find him and molest him.he probably died but at least he had a chance when i left him.

We saw some on the upper Mullica a few weeks back. They were hovering over the lily pads I'm guessing they were feeding/watering. (times like those that I wish I had a better camera) It was interesting to follow their activities. Good shots!
