China Pieces....

Does anyone know anything about all the broken china pieces that are all over the Mullica river beach down from Crowley's Landing? They are so pretty and cool! I found a few with backstamps. May be off one of those sunken ships? All are OLD!

You can also find bits of china flatware in the plowed field by Harrisville. Could be from a household refuse dump.

Bob has a theory on that china which to me seems quite good. They for sure had to feed the pigs at some point, and they may have acquired their food from restaurants and such. These restaurants would for some reason have the pig owners dispose of their old dishes when acquiring the food waste, and this is why the china is there.
