Folks:

As you probably know, this site has been redesigned at least 5 times. Each time that happens I go through a process where I decide if I want to get rid of some old articles or (more likely) I forget to retype them in the new software. For whatever reason old articles sometimes go missing.

Last Saturday Guy and I met up in the woods and made a quick visit to Red Oak Grove where I remembered that Scott W. had written an article on Red Oak Grove that somehow went missing. Well, after spending some time on the Internet Archive, I've found a bunch of old articles that had been purged and am bringing them back. A lot of them are from the "golden era" of 2003 where, in my opinion, the site was really flourishing and coming into it's own. I'm trying to recapture some of that magic today and I invite you to enjoy some of my older articles as they get re-posted.

Cheers!

Also, for those of you interested, the look of the site in 2006 is (in my opinion) one of the better designs I came up with for the site. That's when the random header image first showed up. You can (kinda) see it in the Internet Archive - some of the images don't show up, but here's what it looks like:

It's great to see these old articles again Ben - I still remember reading them when they were originally posted, so this is like seeing an old friend again. :)

That's great Ben.. I copied them for my Pines archive, I would hate to see all that information get lost.
While visiting the archive site I got this message:

I just looked and it seems like several other people have had problems with Norton and Archive.org. I think it's because Archive.org may have inadvertently archived some sites where you can get infected with a virus, and Norton is blocking the whole thing.

If you look under the virus list you'll see three sites coming out of archive.org that have nothing to do with NJPB.com. So that's probably why you can't get in.
