The wind Is going to blow strong all night is the most likely reason there is not a warning. I hope it does not my blueberry are coming out in flower.

30 degrees just before daylight in the blueberries for a very short period of time. The wind was a definite help.

I’d like to think so but May can be bad from time to time. May 19 and May 20 in 1992 was the freeze that crushed the blueberries in NJ. It went below 20 degrees and fried our entire blueberry crop on our farm. Cranberries were saved because of irrigation. That freeze even fried all the woods and made it look dormant again in the pines.
Here we are, exactly three years later, and we have another frost warning!

I was on the red road this morning around 6:30 and it was cold. I got out of the car, opened the back tailgate and removed my bag and walking stick. I locked the doors and started walking to the trail and realized it was colder than I thought so I went back for my wool hat and gloves and my tailgate was still open. I was parked along the road so I am glad it was cold or I would have left the tailgate open for 3 hours.
I was hiking the Batona Trail from 3pm - 8pm yesterday. The temperature was 54 at the start and 50 when I finished. No wind, no bugs. To me that was perfect.
I grabbed a site at Godfrey Bridge Saturday night/Sunday morning. It was 37 when I woke up at 06:30
