This could continue for awhile, see the links I posted above. We had a killing freeze that did a lot of damage on May 12 in 2010 and May 23 in 2013.

They just changed it to Sat morning.

Saturday
A slight chance of rain and snow showers before 9am, then a chance of rain showers after 3pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 50. Breezy, with a northwest wind 20 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Well, this is not good. They have lowered tonight's forecast to 30 degrees and issued a freeze warning. And the forecast is 36 for Monday night and 38 for Tuesday. Was just out for a walk, and the laurel bushes in my woods have fragile-looking baby leaves. No problem last night, but there have been three times in the past 10 years when a late freeze killed the little leaves and there was no new growth those years.

Warm weather coming after this, up to 82 on Friday. Soon we'll all be complaining about the heat and humidity (and pine pollen). :D
