Yes, I enjoy it. However. will be there later. Church commitments for my wife & kids. I expect to be there 1:30 or so.

Just curious as to what goes on here. I've seen general descriptions like crafts, music, etc. but as for most Pine Barrens events websites sans this one, details are usually very sparse (case in point, Pine Barrens Jamborree's lack of a music/artist schedule for the day).
I'd like to know who is actually going to go as I've been a member of this site for over 3 years now and I've still never made it out or met anyone.

My wife really wants to go. So, the two of us plus my daughter will be there.
As for what there is to do -- go shopping for crafts, watch demonstrations of stuff, look at old tractors and farm equipment, eat hot dogs and other questionable food, etc.

There is antique construction equipment, hit and miss engines , steam engines etc.

Damn...here I sit at work, where I'll remain until 2:00, but hey, someone has to open the rink-might as well be me. It's more fun than my real job. Anyway, I'm with Scott, and by the way, if you like antique equipment you've got to hit the state fair next year. I went for the first time this year and the New Jersey Antique Engine and Machinery Club (yes there is such a thing) has a whole barn dedicated to everything from hit and miss engines of all sizes, to steam engines, to diesels. Not only that but the equipment they ran-all right there chugging away! Washing machines, wringers, pumps, corn shellers, etc... They also had a huge steam engine with a flywheel that must have been 5 feet in diameter with a 6" bore. The sign said they had just acquired it and that it would be running next year. To top it off the whole building's electricity is provided by a Lister diesel powering a decent size genset. Between that and the tractor show/pull I had to be dragged from the fairgrounds that day.
Most of the hit and miss engies are hooked up to something.
Some are pumping water, some shelling corn and one of the larger steam engines is shaving cedar shakes.
I cancelled my fishing trip for today so I will be at Batsto.

I was able to make it there. I saw three people I knew, one has posted here before. I took a raffle on Howard Boyds book. I saw I believe Mike Hogan selling things at a booth, and my wife and youngest daughter purchased shirts. This year I did not lock my keys in the car with it running like last year.

Ran into Largo at around 1:30.
The weather was absolutely perfect.
I noticed there were a few more vendors this year and more antique vehicles.
I go to a few rural Pennsylvania county fairs each year and the Batsto event is a nice substitute close to home.

I was there from 1 until about 4. Ran into Terry at the Visitors Center, Largo, met John Pierce, and said hi to Janet from the Citizens Committee, and Terry from the 5K Race.
It was nice to see it not on the same weekend as the Cranberry Festival. I think that had a lot to do with the increase in vendors and crowd.
I really liked the unrestored Model A or T. And the airplane engine was pretty neat too!

A perfect day. Weather was dead on perfect. Plenty for the kids. Surprised to run into RednekF350. There were more people than I expected today and as it's been a few years there was some equipment I haven't seen before. I get lost in that part. The varied designs and intricacies of old fashion motors are fascinating. some of the things they put to use for are awsome.
The water drop display was cool. I would have to say the plane motor was cool. Planted myself & middle son right in front of it. Cranked full up it's pretty intense. I too saw Terry, who looked plenty busy, and we spoke on next weekend for a bit. It was a pleasure to run into Ben and speak for a couple moments. The only downside was that my youngest son was not feeling his best and was not as animated as usual. He still had fun.

The old machine where you throw in the corn and it takes it off the cobs was interesting, and the A10 Warthogs flew right over on their way to Warren Grove. I wonder if they take that route every week or changed it for today? That drew quite a bit of attention.
