Does anyone know the town that the Dennis Memorial Hospital was located in in 1948. My Great grandfather was living in Lakewood but died in that hospital. Lakewood did not have the death certificate so I need to know the town the hospital was located in.

Heathen Clerk can probably fill in some missing pieces, but the Dennis Memorial Hospital, a.k.a., the Dennis Rest Resort & Convalescent Sanitarium, was located in Pinewald. The building containing the hospital was constructed as the Royal Pines Hotel. It became a rather well-known hospital during the 1940s.

The name of the Township is Berkeley Township in Ocean County, I've attached a couple of links. I'm going thru similar efforts as I trace my family. Good luck.
