All,

With the help of another member of this site I was able to get on private property today for a project that I hope will result in some interesting stones. My goal today was to look for a stone that may or may not have been along a small stream. Arriving there Jessica and I did not find anything except a concrete monument and a large tube.

From there we had to cross the creek, and with Jessica being vertically challenged she had to shimmy to get over it :) My wife bought her new boots and today when she got home her feet cramped up and have hurt her all day.

It was really cold on the other side for some reason, and we found this not so jolly magic mushroom eating animal all alone. :)

I had not viewed the survey for this property, but looking over Live Maps here I believed there may indeed be a stone on one of the corners. We slowly made our way through the upland along the river to this location. On arrival we circled around with no luck. I then moved deeper into the woods but had to return when Jessica found it not 5 feet from where I had just been. This stone at one time must have been the controlling stone for quite a bit of property in that area. I later was shown the survey of this property by the owner and there is no mention of a stone on it and the property owner did not know of it.

Hard to see even in the late fall.

It now was time to head back. Walking though the woods I suddenly saw a woman in front of us. What was she doing out there??

Apparently getting a face lift. Jessica thinks she is learning how to cut hair. You can find the strangest things in the woods.

I thought it was a plastic surgeon and Jessica thought it was a hairdresser code if there is such a thing.
