FINALLY!!! After trying to catch one for literally 25 years to caught my first redfin pickerel today. It's species #129 caught. Next up is the pirate Perch. Hopefully it doesn't take me as long.

Nice! Those little guys are a lot of fun on a fly rod. It’s as close to trout fishing as you can get in the pine barrens.

Yes! My sons and I tied some clouser minnows and wooly buggers and gave it a try a few years ago. Picks are a blast on the fly rod.
