The asking price is often more than new, it seems. But this one has to keep cutting. I think it's mostly hype.

No, actually I've been looking at Toyota Avalon limiteds in the 2022 model year to replace my 2010 Camry as my normal driving car, so I get all kinds of car ads. I lke the 4runner because I can carry a lot of stuff I need in the woods to do my surveys, and the access is good. I look at the FJ's and don't see the same access. And, although I didn't do the measurments, I'm guessing my 4 runner is just as narrow (or even more narrow), which is critical to me. Another problem I see with the FJ is impaired visibility for the driver to see what's around him.
