Nymphaea odorata.....Fragrant water lily. Seeing a pink one is not unusual at Whitesbog, but for some reason it is, in most other pineland bodies of water. The common color is white.
I didn't see a lot of the loosestrife but the old unused bogs were full of Meadow beauty. Since these old bogs are a sandy area do you think it would be a good area to check for Pickerings Morning Glory?
