Bob, Guy, or anyone else who can answer me this:

Was the entance to the Forked River mountains that we used that day on our G2G on 539? I know you (Bob) had mentioned that it was between X and Y mile markers. I just can't remember which ones, and I'd like to do some more exploration at Aserdaten and at the Gun Club Rions sometime soon.

Ben,

I have given you both formats for each intersection. Some are scaled from topozone which I do all the time and always arrive within feet of where I want to be. You probally are set to hddd.mm.mmm and should use them.

The enterence we entered is on 539 at the 16 and a half mile marker. Coming south turn left at:

39.50.183
74.22.850
hddd.mm.mmm

39.50.11.0
74.22.51.0
hddd.mm.ss.s

Then travel to the below scaled reading and turn left. If you don't turn here you will pass the foundations of the old tower and eventually you will reach the Forked River Mountains.

39.49.867
74.20.733
hddd.mm.mmm

39.49.52
74.20.44
hddd.mm.ss.s

Then travel to this scaled reading and turn right.

39.50.667
74.20.967
hddd.mm.mmm

39.50.40
74.20.58
hddd.mm.ss.s

Then arrive at the Aserdaten Intersection where we walked.

39.51.417
74.20.283
hddd.mm.mmm

39.51.25
74.20.17
hddd.mm.ss.s

Then the Gun Club

39.52.388
74.20.650
hddd.mm.mmm

39.52.23.3
74.20.39.0
hddd.mm.ss.s

There are other ways that may be slightly shorter coming south on 539, but this is the way we went and I always used. Write me if you want a partner on the trip.

Guy,

Thanks. I have a waypoint saved for Aserdaten but I'm not sure if it would autoroute me there the best way.

Let me know when would be a good time for you to come and we could definately meet out there.
