Same to you mysterious person. And yes, its an excellent forum.

Incidentally--does anyone else remember when Al (manumuskin) and myself were the only "herpers" on this forum? Perhaps there have always been more, but seriously . . . we seem to be attracting a crowd as of late.

Actually, I rember when Al was the only herper. As a matter of fact, I rember when there were no herpers on here. I think you guys make a great addition to this site.

You'd be surprised how many herpers there are in NJ.
I would assume a crowd a like-minded people who enjoy the outdoors isn't a bad thing.

Thanks guys...

Boxies are great, nothing like finding a patient one that will let you take pics from all angles without retreating into its shell. Then again, finding and photographing any turtle is always fun...

Then there's the "not so cooperative" type...

And here's another form of sundew, a filiformis as opposed to the spatulata in the previous post.

This one's got some pitcher plant mixed in...

I like the picture of the spotted. His/her shell is much different then many of the spotteds I've seen. It is much more carved out like that of a wood turtle or bog. Most of the spotters I've encountered have very, very smooth shells. Once again nice pics.
