Just wanted to introduce myself before I started posting away. I am a lifelong South Jersey resident, except for my college years, and wouldn't have it any other way. I work as a park ranger in Philly and have a passion for all kinds of hiking. I've done 2/3 of the A.T. throughout NJ, Tennessee, Georgia, PA, WV, V, & some of Maine. Also spent time on the Florida trail and many miles of Alaska's Inside Passage. The Pines will always be my first love however. From my early years in scouting up through the present I still call the Pines my home.
I found this sight a week ago and gotta say how much I have enjoyed reading some of the dialog, you are an excellent bunch with a wide range of knowledge of the Pines. Hope to get to know you all better.
