hammock camping

has anyone tried hammock cammping? I am thinking about buying a hennesey hammock and was wondering if anyone has tried them.

Cot tents look interesting, I've seen them at Hawkin camp ground. Trouble is they don't break down small enough.

A friend of mine swears by the Hennesy. I've borrowed and used it on a couple of occasions. Light weight, off the ground, water resistant. Only complaint was that I got tangled getting out once. For extended packing trips though that thing is great.

Tried out the hammock this weekend in Shennandoah N.P. Takes a little getting used to but I liked it. storm came up Friday night and the wind pulled my fly back, I got a face full of cold rain but got squared away after that.
