Went out for awhile today, but the wind was so harsh that my fingers became numb very quickly! This place offers some impressive wide open vistas:

I dare ya to try and cross this bridge!

In the more wooded section there were lots of birds that were startled by my car and I caught this guy on the wing. Is it a Great Blue Heron?

All in all a nice trip, but best appreciated from inside a warm car today!

Not all that often, but I do like visiting from time to time because it's such a different kind of place.

Once again one of my favorite areas. Everytime I go down into that area it is like I'm the first person back there all year. If your into hawks, herons, eagles, they are in no short supply down there.

I go down to that area often for bird watching. Absolutely beautiful area.

I should take a ride down there as I think it's pretty car accessible.

I've yet to go to Shellpile or Bivalve.

Shellpile/Bivalve is worth it just for the old schoolhouse that's attached to a bar. Some great buildings (old church, boat cabin perched on land) down there, and the bay is nice...
