Just installed an inverter in my Rubicon today:
Slightly "modified" a Coleman 400W inverter bought at Costco for $25 yesterday. Now the inverter itself is mounted under the steering column inside the dash, and the plugs are remotely mounted in the big blank plate in the console. I also added a lighted switch so I can tell when the damn thing is on.
Makes life so much nicer when you don't have the damn inverter plugged into the cigarette lighter. Less clutter is better.
Oh, and that's Forked River Mountain dust all over the inside of the Jeep. From last month's trip with Bob. The damn stuff won't go away.
