Hi all,

Just got back from Bike Week in Daytona Beach, Florida. What a great time! Unfortunately I did not get to do any exploring. We got in on Friday afternoon and Friday night I had my brother in the ER with kidney stones. The first half of the week was spent back and forth to the hospital until Tuesday when they finaly put a stent in so the fluids could bypass the 4mm stone. Of course by then I had a lot of partying to catch up on. I've got tons of pictures but I can't post them here. They were more in the line of human nature and what a woman will do for trinket beads(think Mardi Gras)   .

Hey, you! Glad to hear from ya! Glad you're back, and glad you had a good time!

ps you got me scratchin my head.... trinket beads? lol! :P they must be made of gold....

I've been wanting a bike...if anyone hears of a bike appropriate for a smaller female (me) that is good onroad and offroad (Pines), and in good shape, (and reasonable) let me know?

A nice big Harley with off-road tires? Cool.

Not a heavyweight. Something a little leaner, lighter, but tough as me; something that says: definitely all woman, but tough enough to hang with the guys.

I'm not sure if Harley Davidson is still making the 883 Sportster. But for exploring, try an old WWII Harley or something old like that, (Flat Heads, Knuckle Heads and Pan Heads) they were very durable and would go anywhere.

Be prepared to sell a kidney to be able to afford an old Harley. They're incredibly overpriced.

Good thing I have two of them.

Well take care of them. You wouldn't want to go through what my brother went through this week.

Steve

Glad he's ok....two of my sister's have kidney problems, one has scarred kidneys from repeated infections. Not anything to mess with.
