How navigable is the Wading River after Sandy

With the weather nice the weekend, thought we'd run the canoe down the Wading River, probably somewhere from Hawkins down to Beaver Branch. Anyone know the condition after Sandy, are there lots of tress/brush to deal with?

I know the portion of the Wading River that runs around/through the Wading Pines Camping Resort is plagued with down trees. Not sure river travel is possible without getting out of your boat to move it to the other side of the downed trees.

We paddled the Wading River from Evans Brigde to Beaver Branch yesterday. There are many new downed trees in the river but we managed to get around them all with little effort. The current was swift and tried to pin us to the trees and bank. There are many leaners waiting to fall.
