I was just a kid in diapers when these shots were taken. Very cool!! that old rail car is amazing.

There are derailed cars on both sides of the track in the "NJPB 22Sep1971 NJ Central RR" photo too, but they are hard to see. The track was near the Carranza Memorial. The track was a long straightaway so I don't know how they got derailed or what happened. There was a discussion of it on here when I originally posted those pictures, but I don't think anyone knew what happened there.
I had some longer descriptions for some of them but it made me abbreviate them when I uploaded them.
