I started using them in the late 1990's when you could access text-based forecasts using the telnet protocol in a terminal program. Rarely use them today, I prefer the RadarScope app and the NWS website now.

There are no changes that have been announced for how Weather Underground will operate, and Bob Henson and I plan to ride the rapids to see where they lead.
