back then . which one would it be , and why? is it because of its history or did something happen there that you would like to be a part of . or would you leave more traces of the past to be found . any southern new jersey town?

I don't know about back then but there are two places I'd like to live now. There is something about Mount that attracts me. Can't quite put my finger on it, it's not a beautiful place, there's just something about it. The other place is Hampton Furnace or I should say somewhere on Mossy Spung Rd. The old bogs there are one of the most beautiful places in the pines. I got some nice pictures yesterday which I will put in my gallery later tonight.

Also, since I wouldn't have a computer job back then, perhaps somewhere near the Harrisville Paper mill.

Hmm...anywhere away from people... 
Seriously, when we were at Batsto Village the other day I thought the worker's houses were the perfect size for me, lol! Seems like I'm never done cleaning. But the farm rules under Whartong--nah. All chores including breakfast done by 6 a.m. No chatting during work hours, etc....
Seriously, I think I would have liked being an inn or tavern owner back then, maybe during the revolutionary war...Sooy's Tavern or something...may have been one of my ancestors, who knows, my grandma was a Sooy.
Or...wasn't there a place in the Pines that was part of the Underground Railroad? I think I would have been a part of that....

would these beautiful bogs you speak of be the ones upstream on skit branch from Hampton Furnace?I love them and often canoe or kayak down skit to batsto and up batsto as far as possiblepast the sunken bridge then reverse and go down and back up.two beautiful streams there though they be close they be so very sifferent.one maple and the other cedar and beaver country.

I think I would want to live near Apple Pie Hill because of the view or Calico so I could keep those damn beaver dams in check. Don't they know they are flooding the road ? lol
