tomorrow friday 7/25/05 i am going to wander up to jemima mt from Quanker bridge rd at Penn swamp or from Mount and to explore a small state park listed on my gps map on Mount Sandy Ridge rd

some bushwacking and maybe some water crossing (knee boots a good idea)

i will be at Atsion at 9:30 am

all are welcome to join me

it is about 5 to 6 miles no more, 2.0/2.5 mph, 4 to 5 hours i guess at the most, if we leave the starting point at 10:00, back to atsion by 3:30 at the latest

BTW, I think you will find that is another fake input by the map people. I have all of the survey maps of that area except the one along that road. The reason why I don't have it is that when I was taking photo's of the survey maps that section had no survey markers so I passed on it. If there was some sort of park it would have been mentioned. If someone owned the property it would have been an "exception" and I did not see any.

Thank you for inviting us all today.....I had a great time as usual.

This shows an area where a hunter dug up the ground and was baiting the deer with corn and pumpkins.

And at another location we lowered and examined a semi high tech feeder. It has a battery in it which comes on at timed intervals and throws the corn to the ground. It then reloads for the next throw.
