Took the gun for a walk today with the wife and dogs to enjoy this winter weather. This is usually a good time to catch ducks hunkered down during a storm on open water pockets when the other water starts to tighten up.

I captured this picture of my son's dog Junior sitting next to me. Junior is an intense hunter and he was trying his hardest to find a duck today but after checking 4 known haunts, we realized they just weren't there.

I like the contrast of his warm yellow color against the bleak, basically black and white winter background.
