Me and my friend started off the day by first traveling to Lebanon, the forest, not the country, all these pics were taken on 10/7. We found this marker in Lebanon inscribed with letters that i do not know what they mean.
A cellar hole next to the marker. Notice the trashed whiskey bottle in it.
Then we went on to do some more exploring at the glassworks site. A pic of the mound covering the hearth.
Some scattered bricks and stones on the mound.
A pic of glass slag.
It was now time to go to Brooksbrae. Upon entering the site we saw a car that was parked at the ruins, an orange paintball game was in progress.
Grafitti time.
Orange paint and bottles.
Some more Brooksbrae pics.
Another pic, orb time.
Another view of the site.
Still Brooksbrae.
Last Brooksbrae pic, then time to move on.
Finishing our exploration of the site, it was on to Old Halfway. The water was very low.
A hill pic.
Another water pic.
Four wheelers at play. In this pic the two trucks fully in view were stuck, off to the left just seen behind the trees is the truck that got these two guys out of trouble numerous times.
Now it was time to return to Atsion once again taking this these two pics of the turntable area. First is a far view.
A close up, in the surrounding woods we found some old scattered bricks and also some anthracite coal, bricks and coal not pictured.
Deciding to call it a day we then wanted to go over our friends house in Tabernacle for some cold refreshment, taking Forked Neck Road i took this pic.
Indian Ann's cellar hole.
Arriving in Tabernacle i took this pic of the Friendship School which was moved from Friendship on Carranza and Speedwell Road to it's present location on Carranza Road in Tabernacle.
Then on to our friend's house and while there, we were saying that we wish that the day was longer so we could spend more time exploring the pines.
