Water levels look pretty high everywhere I've been recently. We've discussed this in other threads as well. I think that precipitation is what matters and not snow pack, although I suppose melting snow could cause a spike in levels when it melts.

Snow pack releases water over a period of time thus delaying any drought that might occur. In NJ if there is any significant snow it melts and runs off quickly and is no help in the summer.
