I've met him at 2 book signings and one other event and spoken to him at length in the past. Of course I would not expect him to recognize me and at first, no lie, I wasn't 100% sure it was him, He was unloading his truck of something and going in to the house adjacent to the church and I thought it rude to bother other than ask to park in his lot. He was very cheerful about it and I left it at that.
Perhaps when next out there I'll engage him further.
