Something has changed. Either my update yesterday to 10.5.5 has fixed the problem, or something with terraserver-usa has improved. The maps tonight are loading for the first time in quite a while.
I used to work for Comcast. I was the first user in Ocean County with a cable modem. I had all of that bandwidth to myself! 1998 was a good year for me.
