You know what we need ? We need a really good, detailed road map, like the kind they used to give out at gas stations, from the 1930s. That way Father Beck's description of where things were would make more sense. The one little problem I have with his descriptions (besides the fact that they can be really vague sometimes) is the old route numbers and roads mentioned merely as "that new concrete road that runs from XX to XX", or whatever. A good detailed map from his time period would be great.
