March 2011 - How clear is the Mullica out to camp?

Warmer weather - its that time of year again. Has anyone canoed or kayaked the Mullica from Atsion down to the camp and out to Pleasant Mills yet this year? How clear is the river with downed trees and all?

I hiked back to Locks Bridge this past weekend and from all that rain there was a lot of water - the little falls were raging (inasmuch as water rages in the Pines!) That part looked pretty tricky - what with the falls and the fast current and the trees that you had to duck under and quick sweep around. I want to tuck quite a few Mullica Camp overnight kayak trips under my belt this year...

Cant give much info on the Mullica, but the Oswego and Cedar Creek were both pretty jammed up a few weeks ago. We had a long snowy winter and quite a few wind storms that took a lot of trees down. Not sure when the canoe liveries get out there and start hacking away, but once they do things should clear up. I'd imagine the upper Mullica would have much of the same, but cant be certain.
