Was out with Sophie again today and this time went north from Martha Bridge.Took sets of pics,one normal and then three exposures for HDR.Some turned out some didn't Apparently even HDR can't handle some sunlight/shade contrasts.

As you can see in one of the pics I found several piles of slag with sizable chunks,some almost looked like glass.They may have been piled there by someone though it seemed to be scattered pretty widely.

Very neat. Some of them have the feel of old hand-colored linen postcards

trying not to get too freaky with em, believe it or not there are freakier settings then these then some settings look like nothing was done to them.Painterly effect is my favorite and there is from natural to extra surreal which these are extra surreal.I like how you can take exposures in a sun dappled cedar swamp and have it come out okay without white and dark holes from sunlight and shadows.Doesn't quite look natural but then again a camera hasn't been made as versatile as the eye.
