Meteor shower tonight

Anyone else going to watch? I'm hoping to see some from the Ocean Gate boardwalk.

I'll be watching, though I fear I'm not in the best location. Hopefully the clouds will clear.

I read where tonight is the best night, but it will be on other nights also.

Unfortunately we have lots of really tall trees. Might take the kids and drive to an open spot. If I heard correctly it is heaviest after midnight?

I read the peak will be midnight but you'll still be able to see them hours before & after. I'm actually heading out now.

Well that was disappointing. Hoping I get a better view from my Pocono house tomorrow night.

Same here. I went outside at 11:00 because I had heard the Space Station would be visable, but didn't see it. At around 11:45 a line of clouds moved in and blocked everything. Maybe tonight will be better.

Went out last night with the family from 12 - 1 AM. Would have stayed later but we had our 10 year-old and she was getting cold and very tired. Found a nice dark field, perfectly clear sky. Probably saw 10-15 total over that hour, with 5-10 of them being pretty spectacular.

I didn't get out last night but my son and 3 of his friends drove out to Winslow WMA where there is a large field. He said they saw a lot, and a couple were really good ones. He also thought it was pretty funny to learn that one of his buddies is afraid of the dark and didn't want to get out of the car (it's too dark!).
