I wonder where that mill was located.

It most likely was located where the new dam they just fixed is at. it was replaced I would assume after the big flood. That dam keeps their lake intact.

Don't anyone go there because it is private property. They do not want you on their property without permission.

back in the 60's when i lived in the area one of the Pitman brothers showed me where the mill was located and some of the remnites

at that time you could drive from rt 70 the back way on "rattler road" (which is now blocked and undrivable) or from mt, misery rd then down to what once was the lake, just not much more that a shallow puddle at that time.
