Sounds pretty cool as I am a fan of big horsepower! Just wondering is that Pat who owns a body shop in South Jersey? Also if you know anyone who needs dyno time I can get you hooked up. Good luck!

I thought that might be him. I am good friends with the family that owns Fonse Performance, the people who built his motor. He also fixed my truck last year and did a great job. He is a good guy, a bit crazy, but a good guy.

if you are planning on going call New Egypt Speeedway at (609) 758 1900 before you leave to be sure its cancelled or not.

The first Speed Garvey race of the season starts at noon, Sunday in Ship Bottom.

Unfortunately, it looks like they won't be coming back to Beachwood this year :(

I don't really know; I would guess 50, maybe 60mph. I once worked with a woman whose brother built them. His boat, the Blue Goose, set numerous speed records while racing but the speed isn't listed for them. Whatever the speed reached, they are a ton of fun to watch :) The local schedule at the link, they are racing at Ship Bottom this Sunday; I may try and get down there
