Was listening to commentary on both of these guys this morning, The Cars were a standard back in my cruising around days! even had them on 8 track! I also never knew Eddie Money was a NYC cop in his lifetime!

I"m of course much too young to remember these tunes but since I did grow up plaing Moms 45,s,excuse me ,scratch that, CD"s that I do quite like this old fogy music, I of course don't even know what a 45 was.

Perhaps your thinking of those old 78's ;)

I almost wore one of my Fathers out playing this one;

I still have a small collection of 45's in the attic. I just checked. I only have Chantilly Lace by the Big Bopper. And on the other side, Purple People Eater Meets Witch Doctor. If you care to know, I also have The Merry Old Philosopher by Eddie Lawrence

Back in like, 77? I moved to Point Pleasant for a few weeks in the summer. I was playing this song on the vinyl often then. I like how it slowly builds and builds, and then gets up and hops along. Duane Allman was like Jimi Hendrix in that he could make a guitar talk. And definitely kudos to the rest of the band on this song.
