I was never a Dead Head, but-after listening to that -------------Wow !
Fellow I know slightly- Frank Wakefield- used to sit in with the Dead. He's mostly known for his Mandolin: one of the best players of all time.

Always was a character ! Called me once ( I used to sell strings mail order and at jams) : " This here's the Po-leece ? One of us is Frank Wakefield, an' I don't think it's you."
I responded: "Well, Boy howdy , it sure ain't me - so thet Wakefield feller ? Must be you."

Have any of you read the recent article about Paul McCartney in Rolling Stone magazine? It is so funny that the reporter and Paul pulled up to Abby Road and the tourists were out there taking photo's and lining up like the Abby Road album cover, and Paul and the reporter were right there at the intersection in the car watching them. The tourists never saw them at all, and with Paul driving he just pulled away and the unobservant tourists missed the opportunity of a lifetime.
