A rogue storm cloud with attitude issues picked on me. This happened Monday morning. There were thunderstorms in the general area, but it was pretty nice here at home when a lightning bolt hit very near to the house. I'm pretty sure the lightning accessed my computer through my phone line as my external modem got zapped (both fried, but my connected external hard drive managed to survive). I used to run my phone line through a surge protector, but recently (when I switched to Verizon) stopped. Stupid me. Live and learn.
If I see that cloud again, I've a few choice words stored up for it.
