Thanks for all the kind responses. One of the structural engineers at work tried to condemn my canoe as a safety hazard so I could get a new one to take the baby out in, but my wife Denise wouldn't go for it

Very cute - congratulations! My granddaughter will be two in March. While she's been carried around the woods before, New Years was the first time she walked on her own. Big adventure for a kid from a little NY apartment... she loved it, just got a bit upset when Mom wouldn't let her jump into Stephen Creek.
