Nearly 30,000 Macs worldwide have been infected with mysterious malware, according to researchers at security firm Red Canary.

People still don't believe me when I say that you need antivirus on a Mac. I even made it a requirement on all of the Macs at work.

For an iPhone, no. If I had an Android I would 100% run it.

The problem is, if the antivirus software does not know about the virus it won't catch it.

I did a search in my Users Library and the file in question is not there. So it appears I don't have it, yet.

Comcast dropped Norton's free service for PC, so I signed up for Norton. Have it on my Android phone too. Comcast wants you to rent a new modem that has their proprietary virus software on it. I opted to not do that.
