The 2012 Ford Bronco concept is supposed to bring back Ford Bronco into action. The 2012 Ford Bronco concept was designed as a basic utility vehicle, featuring a three-door layout and manual windows. If Ford green-lights the 2012 Ford Bronco for production, the new Ford Bronco prototype likely won’t get the concept’s 2.0-liter turbo-diesel four-cylinder or its nitrous-oxide injection system, but it could get the twin-clutch robotic PowerShift manual transmission, which uses two automatic clutches to smooth over jerky torque interruptions during shifts. The new 2012 Ford Bronco model is definitely will improved and powerful.

Retro, retro, retro. I don't know why we Americans have lost our creativity. Everything is a remake of something older. Come up with a new design that is timeless, please! Movies and vehicles included.

I don't think that webpage was written by a native English speaker. ;) Looks like it's only a concept and not an actual car.

I got a VW Tiguan with 4wd myself last spring and love it.

Ford won’t bring back the Bronco, so someone had to.
Boutique off-road specialist ICON 4x4 has introduced an updated version of the first-generation Bronco that has the classic looks of the original but modern technology underneath.
Officially called the BR Series, it built on a chassis supplied by renowned car builder Art Morrison Enterprises and has a custom designed Atlas transfer case and Dana solid axles hung on a suspension comprised of Eibach springs and Ford Racing shocks that offers 12 inches of wheel travel.

If OJ Simpson had been driving a early Bronco, his broadcasted chase would have been that much better. (A Parnelli Jones Baja clone at that!):D

You got that right Gibby. With the cost of a new vehicle that looks like an old one, it would be cheaper to buy and old one and restore it. Enough of the superhero crap with movies. Too lazy to read a book in Hollywood I guess.

^^ A Bronco of that vintage is really too big for a lot of places in the Pines.

I want a Suzuki Samurai for a trail vehicle.

I always wanted a diesel Samurai pickup. Short wheelbase, torque of a diesel, and light weight... how can you beat it for exploring? A vehicle that is rare in the U.S.

No Ben, that Samurai isn't custom built as Dogg57's link shows. They can be found for sale every once and awhile on Craigslist. They are rare. I don't know if Suzukis overseas come with a diesel, but a common engine swap is a diesel from a Volkswagon here in the US. There are many parts available aftermarket and several companies build trick suspensions for them. Fun little trucks in my opinion.

True in music as well. Too many remakes, and sampling of existing music. You wouldn't believe how many Led Zep drum tracks are sampled into "the lastest sound". Of course, there is a tremendous amount of new, fresh music out there, but it doesn't make it to most radio playlists. A cover makes more money and sampling is more of a sure thing and the record companies pay big bucks to get radio air play. Anyway, the point is that it is a better investment in a sure thing than to take a chance. We end up losing.

There are many cars and a few trucks that have retro styling. A short list would be - Mustang, Gt40, Thunderbird, S-type Jaguar, Fiat 500, HHR, SSR pickup, Pt Cruiser, VW Beetle, Mini Cooper, Prowler, 300c, Charger, FJ, Camaro, Challenger and more. Shelby's ducts, spoilers, and hoods on his mustangs are styled after his mid sixties designs. Vehicle graphics are reminiscent of the past. I saw a Jeep Golden Eagle in the Dodge dealer's showroom and bumblebee stripes on a Hemi pickup. The retro style is a trend now.
