Coincidence? I think not-David Chase rarely does anything for no particular reason. The Blue Comet ran through the pinelands-will the Russian return? Will Adriana's death come back to haunt the family? It was never implied that Adriana was killed in the pines, but as it's been shown in the past, any wooded area seems to double for them.

I'll lay odds that the episode will not involve a place where trains ran, but rather Bobby Bacala's model railroad hobby, which was featured in several episodes. Maybe someone will end up getting clubbed to death with a Blue Comet engine or passenger car. The standard gauge Blue Comet of the 1930's was one of the biggest trains Lionel ever made and would make an excellent weapon, although a motivated individual could do the job with an O gauge Blue Comet (geeze, you'd think I'd been giving this some thought!)

It's funny, I was sure of what happened at the time, but then listening to the radio this morning, everyone has a different theory. I thought it was black and white, but I guess it's still sort of equivocal to some. The director sure has people talking though, I hope that was his goal!
