Thought the same thing when I saw it last week. Maybe with more funding they won’t need to close anything
I don't see any good coming from this, I really don't. Why would the state ever do this. It's a bad idea in my opinion. Imagine Audubon or NJCF or PPA on the board: 'close this here spot during bird season, or snake season, and oh yes, no more beaver trapping permits, cause they are our dear friends. And no more bear hunts, etc, etc, etc.
