I met Steve for the sander yesterday, and we poked around in the woods a bit, taking a photo here and there. He was showing me how to shoot a manual shot.

If his knee is hurting because of your poking around, I am going to be upset. We need that thing healed! :D

Im at that spot alot. Like it there too. Was surprized when I found it underwater this year. But the 'lake' is drying up again. :(

Your first shot is how I found it the first time I was there. I don't know if it would be considered a vernal pond as it does not dry up completely.

Same with me, first time I was there it was dry, but I could tell it was under water at one point.. or at least I thought it looked like it was. Went back this year, after forgeting how to get there, and riding around for hours trying to find my way there again.. getting stuck once, to find it under water. There are lots of flies around there now.
