I have had that happen to me a few times. It’s embarrassing because as I’m telling the cashier I don’t know why my card was declined since I pay my balance in full every month, I know the people in line behind me are thinking, “Yeah, right, loser. Try paying your bills on time and your card won’t get declined.” I know they’re thinking that because that’s what I’m thinking when I’m standing in line behind somebody whose credit card gets declined and they protest it as a mistake. LOL
